My theme choice: Weather Weather and Moods After choosing weather as my theme, I thought about the most obvious and immediate links when someone thinks about weather relating to art and that's of course to do with how weather has this connotation to our moods. Project Brief We will begin by researching and producing a set of emblematic designs and illustrations inspired by a given notional band, whose name has been randomly generated. Using a variety of analougue printing techniques to process your ideas you will then produce a series of albums front cover designs. Band Name - Executive Catastrophe Album Cover Inspiration The artwork for Linkin Park’s albums are always beautiful and unique in my opinion but my favourite cover is for LP’s ‘Hybrid Theory’ album which in LP style, is confusing at first but has a deeper meaning as you further depict the art. The cover is of a soldier in battle with the wings of a dragon fly. As explained by the band, the reason for this is to show that their music consists of hard and soft elements.
